Nothing makes Halloween at the Magic Kingdom feel more magical than wandering Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party with a themed treat in hand. This year we made it our mission to sample as much of the spooky seasonal menu as we could, and honestly, it did not disappoint. Here’s the full rundown of everything we tried, from the sweet to the savory to the downright eerie.
Minnie’s Witch Hat
We kicked things off with this adorable little dessert, and it was just as fun to eat as it was to look at. Rich, sweet, and perfectly portioned for sharing (though we didn’t really want to), it had that classic Disney charm where the presentation is almost too cute to eat. Almost.
Graveyard Hot Chicken and Waffle
This one had a lot going for it. The flavor was fantastic, a spicy-sweet combo that leaned into the hot chicken trend in the best way, and the waffle underneath soaked up all that sauce beautifully. Our one hiccup: the chicken tenders themselves had a slightly grainy texture where the sauce met the breading, which knocked it down a notch for us. Taste-wise it was a winner, we just wished the texture matched the flavor.
Pumpkin Spice Funnel Cake Sundae
Pure autumn in a bowl. Warm funnel cake, creamy pumpkin spice flavor, and all the toppings you’d want on top made this feel like the ultimate fall indulgence. It was rich and comforting, exactly what you want to eat while watching the Boo to You parade go by.
Doom Buggy Dumplings
Playful name, seriously good bite. These dumplings were packed with flavor and had that perfect savory punch that made us keep going back for “just one more.” A fun nod to the Haunted Mansion that actually delivered on taste, not just theming.
Bowl of Bones and Dumplings
Hands down, this was our favorite treat of the night. Everything about it worked, the flavors were deep and comforting, the dumplings were soft and satisfying, and the presentation leaned perfectly into the spooky theme without sacrificing an ounce of taste. If you only try one thing at the party, make it this one.
Haunting Jalapeno Tots
A great savory palate cleanser between all the sweets. Crispy on the outside, with just the right amount of jalapeno heat, these tots hit that salty, spicy craving perfectly. A simple treat done really well.
Overall, it was a fantastic night of snacking our way through the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Every treat brought something different to the table, but the Bowl of Bones and Dumplings stole the show for us. If you’re planning your own party night, that’s the one we’d tell you not to skip.
